Coal Creek Waterfalls
Coal Creek falls at Greymouth, New Zealand is stunning and one of a kind that nature can offer to unwind and relax. Enjoy the fresh bushy 30 minutes walk from the Ballance Street car park to Coal Creek waterfalls. The trail is easy walk and surely you will enjoy the amazing branches of the trees covered by green moss that makes the environment feels fresh and pollution free.
My husband and I visited Coal Creek during Autumn season and the trail is a little wet and slippery but it’s manageable for physically fit people like us. When you arrive at the waterfalls you can set at the bench provided while looking down to this beautiful Coal Creek falls. This place is truly relaxing and rewarding for our long drive from Christchurch.
Some people have a swim here during Summer season. If you can dare and handle soaking yourself in a cold water go for a refreshing swim before heading back.

Hubby and I got a long break at work so we visited this beautiful waterfalls again to take photograph. When we arrived heaps of lovely Indian taking selfies and groupies of the waterfalls. No one can say no to click their cameras with this beautiful waterfalls. Take souvenir as I say.
On our first visit plenty of water flowing at those big rocks but on our second visit not much but still this Coal Creek waterfalls looks stunning.
Still highly recommended for friends and family for nature trekking.
